Luxury hand-embroidered personalised towel collection — Press Release
A search for value, the juxtaposition of past and present, the creation of a unique, artisan product and a passion for typography – these ideas inspired Bettina Szabo‑Shaw to create Trésor’s first collection. Each piece is delicately handcrafted and the harmony of folk motives, eastern influences, monochrome colours and natural materials are combined to create a new and contemporary finished product.
Tradition and respect for the past are the inspiration behind this collection. Each step of the production is characterised by delicate and meticulous craftsmanship. Attention to detail is paramount and the neat and precise cross‑stitched patterns can only be created by very skilled and experienced hands.
Colours & Theme
The first range in the collection consists of two contrasting colours: midnight blue and dove grey. The use of these two elegant colours and the considered and understated use of ornamental motives, which are based on an antique archive pattern, create a fresh and contemporary collection.
Heritage — Building the future by relying on the past
Our aim is to act with ethical and social responsibility and fair trade practices in line with the company’s philosophy. Trésor has set up ateliers in the Carpathian-Basin, where members of these isolated communities, by utilising their knowledge and skill, can preserve their traditions and values in order to sustain a long-term income and preserve their lifestyle. The product is packaged in a re-usable cotton bag, hand-printed in the United Kingdom.
Distinct, unique and unrepeatable
Trésor’s new product is intended to be much more than a mass-manufactured everyday object. It is a hand-made heirloom piece and the most personal gift.
